The sculpture of two cosmonauts: Vladimir Remek and his colleague at the Soyuz 28 station Alexei Gubarev, who took a space flight in 1978. History The idea and location of the sculpture is influenced by the fact that when the final station of the first Prague metro line was completed ), the astronauts carried out their flight with the Soyuz 28. The station, opened to the public in November 1980, was named Cosmonauts in their honor (name until 1990) and the decoration of the station was adapted to the theme of space conquest - a stone mosaic of astronauts in the western subway and park.
