De Sint-Joostkapel (ook Joostkapel) is sinds 1682 de Evangelisch-Lutherse Kerk op de hoek van de Lage Gouwe en de Groenendaal in de Nederlandse stad Gouda. De Sint-Joostkapel dateert uit de 15e eeuw. De kapel was gewijd aan Sint Joost, de patroonheilige van de turf- en zakkendragers in Gouda. Hij werd aangeroepen als voorspraak en hulp bij aanstaande bevallingen.
Na de hervorming in 1572 werd de kapel eerst gebruikt als turfschuur en vanaf 1577 als opslagruimte voor brandemmers en ladders. In 1680 werd het gebouw, exclusief de toren met klok, door het stadsbestuur voor 400 dukatons verkocht aan de Evangelisch-Lutherse Gemeente. Zij restaureerden het gebouw en namen het in 1682 officieel als kerk in gebruik. De restauratie en inrichting van de kerk was een Goudse aangelegenheid: de gebrandschilderde ramen werden gemaakt door de Goudse glasschilder Willem Tomberg, en stadgenoot Jan Ariens Duif maakte het belangrijkste schilderij in de kerk. Het toont de eerste predikant Clemens Bijleveld als de Pastor Bonus - Goede Herder. Het schilderij en de koperen kroonluchter waren een geschenk van Maria Tams, stichtster van het naar haar genoemde Hofje van Tams. De door Willem Dauw gemaakte gezangborden zijn van later tijd: 1747.
In de jaren 1762, 1790, 1806, 1838 en 1869 werd het kerkgebouw gerestaureerd. Tijdens de restauratie van 1838 zijn de vensters vergroot en zijn de gebrandschilderde ramen verkocht. Tijdens de restauratie van 1869 is de toren afgebroken omdat de straat voor de kerk werd verlaagd om plaats te maken voor een beweegbare brug over de Gouwe. De meest omvangrijke restauratie is die van 1957. De kerk werd nagenoeg geheel afgebroken en opnieuw opgebouwd. Aan de voorgevel toont een blind raam de plaats van de vroegere kerktoren. De nieuwe voorgevel werd bekroond met een uitspringend torentje.
Tegenwoordig wordt in de Sint-Joostkapel om de week op zondagmorgen een Evangelisch Lutherse eredienst gehouden. De Sint-Joostkapel is daarnaast te huren voor huwelijks- en uitvaartdiensten en kleine concerten.

The Sint-Joostkapel (also Joostkapel) has been the Evangelical Lutheran Church on the corner of Lage Gouwe and Groenendaal in the Dutch city of Gouda since 1682. The Saint-Josse chapel dates from the 15th century. The chapel was dedicated to Saint Joost, the patron saint of peat and bag carriers in Gouda. He was called upon as an advocate and aid for upcoming deliveries.
After the reform in 1572, the chapel was first used as a peat shed and from 1577 as a storage space for fire buckets and ladders. In 1680, the building, excluding the clock tower, was sold by the city council for 400 ducatons to the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation. They restored the building and officially opened it as a church in 1682. The restoration and furnishing of the church was a Gouda affair: the stained glass windows were made by the Gouda glass painter Willem Tomberg, and fellow townsman Jan Ariens Duif made the most important painting in the church. It shows the first pastor Clemens Bijleveld as the Pastor Bonus - Good Shepherd. The painting and the copper chandelier were a gift from Maria Tams, founder of the Hof van Tams named after her. The hymnboards made by Willem Dauw are from a later time: 1747.
The church building was restored in the years 1762, 1790, 1806, 1838 and 1869. During the restoration of 1838, the windows were enlarged and the stained glass windows were sold. During the restoration of 1869, the tower was demolished because the street in front of the church was lowered to make way for a movable bridge over the Gouwe. The most extensive restoration is that of 1957. The church was almost completely demolished and rebuilt. On the facade, a blind window shows the location of the former church tower. The new facade was crowned with a projecting turret.
Today, an Evangelical Lutheran worship is held every other week on Sunday morning in St. Joost's Chapel. The Saint-Josse chapel can also be rented for wedding and funeral services and small concerts.
