The picturesque Baroque house in Jana Švermy street N° 7 belongs to a set of visually and historically interesting (originally Gothic) burgher houses in historic center of town Kadan and houses local Tourist Information Centre.
A terraced, two-storey, today Baroque house with a rectangular layout, with a gabled roof and a Renaissance entrance hall, was built before 1700 by the reconstruction and joining of two Gothic houses from the 14th century. The main façade is dominated by a dormer with Tuscan pilasters, between which there is a three-leafed window. The main street south facade is five-axis (2 + 1 + 2), in addition to the main one has a cordon cornice. The house is an important part of the Town monument reserve in Kadan.
