Depicted modern simple fountain, situated in the front of St. Anne Church, decorates recently reconstructed Löschner Square (Löschnerovo námestí) in Kadan.
The fountain, an artifact with the main theme of the spa, is in idea connected with founder of the spa, a native of Kadan, Josef Löschner. The fountain consists of a simple concrete block protruding slightly from the sloping surface of the square. A trace of a spa tub made of bronze sheet metal is abstractly printed in this element. The area of the block surrounding the tub is a water mirror that reflects the surrounding buildings and greenery.
The general reconstruction of the entire square according to the project of the Prague studio Uhlík architects led by Petr Uhlík took place in 2014 and 2015. The implementation of the new construction received the prestigious Award of the Ministry of Regional Development and the Association for Urbanism and Spatial Planning for Public Space in the Construction of the Year 2015 (Stavba roku 2015) competition.
