Headingley is a district of the city of Leeds and the obelisk is dedicated TO THE MEMORY OF THE MEN OF HEADINGLEY WHO FELL IN THE WAR.

It takes the form of a squared obelisk rising from a square plinth and shallow octagonal three-stepped base. On the front face is a bronze sword, with bronze plaques on each face of the plinth. link
