In the historical marker we can see a draw of the house, including some interesting aspects of its layout. It's part of series of historical markers in San Telmo's neighborhood, in Buenos Aires, capital city of Argentina.
The text is available in English, Portuguese and Spanish. The English version goes like this:
"A tragic love story is concealed within the walls of this house built at the turn of the 19th Century.
Margarita was the daughter of sergeant Oliden, a member of the Mazorca, an organization that supported Governor Juan Manuel de Rosas. Her father wished his daughter to marry Ciriaco Cuitiño, then the chief of the organization. But Margarita had fallen in love with popular singer Juan Cruz Cuello, and disobeying her father's wishes, she ran away with her lover. Cuitiño, the slighted fiancé, chased them up to the town of Luján and wounded Margarita who finally died in this house".
