"Alise-Sainte-Reine is a village which offers a very beautiful panorama of the Oze and Ozerain valleys.
Its houses are hung on the slopes of Mont Auxois, and there is a very imposing statue of Vercingétorix dating from 1865.
Between the excavations and the cemetery where Canon Kir rests, you can admire the Joseph Cross.
It is a cross which bears the date of October 16, 1891 to the devotion of Philibert Lapipe and Emilie Passe his wife , it includes a statue of Saint-Joseph at mid-height. "
On the front of the cross you will find Christ on the cross and halfway up there is Saint Joseph, on the other side you will find the Virgin Mary. The cross measures approximately 5m and is made of local stone.
