Found in the Tumalo Canal Historical Area, W of Redmond, OR.
From the intersection with Barr Road, travel generally NE on Cline Falls Highway for 2.2 miles to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 1" pipe, firmly set and rising 6"
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The sixteenth corner is about 3420' W of Cline Falls Highway. Found two western junipers with yellow BEARING TREE tags. The pipe is located at the corner of barbed wire fences, extending N and E. Also found a new reference monument RM S32 E 1/16, shown in the attached photograph.
