In Bonn-Castell diekt am Rheinufer steht die rumänische orthodoxe Holzkirche der Gemeinde "Die Heiligen Stefan, Cassius und Florentius". Es handelt sich dabei um eine Holzkapelle im traditionellen Stil der Region Maramures in Rumänien. Sie wurde dort entworfen und gebaut, in Einzelteilen nach Bonn transportiert und schließlich ab 2016 hier aufgebaut. Die Einweihung der Kirche war am 1. Dezember 2018 zum rumänischen Nationalfeiertag und zum 100. Jahrestag der Vereinigung Rumäniens.

Neben der Kirche selber ist auch das Eingangstor am Legionsweg ein Hingucker: Es ist komplett aus Holz geschnitzt und besteht aus einem kleinen Eingang und einem großen Tor, welche von einem Giebeldach überspannt sind. Die Pfosten sowie die Tore sind mit Ornamenten verziert, unter dem Dach befindet sich der Name der Kirche.

Die Kirche befindet sich auf dem Gelände der Rumänischen Botschaft, ist aber öffentlich zugänglich.
The Romanian Orthodox wooden church of the parish "Die Heiligen Stefan, Cassius und Florentius" stands in Bonn-Castell on the banks of the river Rhine. It is a wooden chapel in the traditional style of the Maramures region in Romania. It was designed and built there, transported in individual parts to Bonn and finally built here in 2016. The inauguration of the church was on December 1, 2018 for the Romanian National Day and the 100th anniversary of the unification of Romania.

In addition to the church itself, the entrance gate on Legionsweg is an eye-catcher: It is completely carved from wood and consists of a small entrance and a large gate, which are spanned by a gable roof. The posts and the gates are decorated with ornaments, under the roof is the name of the church.

The church is located on the site of the Romanian Embassy, but is open to the public.
