Histoire

Le hall de la tour Tielt a été construit sur le Markt en 1275. La structure a été détruite à plusieurs reprises et a été érigée encore et encore. Le bâtiment actuel date de 1558-1560. Tanneke Sconyncx, accusée de sorcellerie, s'est effondrée dans la tour du hall après des mois de torture. Le bâtiment a été construit dans un style Renaissance. The Tielt tower hall was built on the Markt in 1275. The structure was destroyed several times and was erected over and over again. The current building dates from 1558-1560. Tanneke Sconyncx, accused of witchcraft, collapsed in the hall tower after months of torture. The building was built in a Renaissance style. The heraldic ornaments above the galleries are late 19th century additions. They represent the coats of arms of important delights and Tielt families from the feudal period.
