This monastery was founded in 1745 and now it's open to the public, or at least part of it.

Founded in 1745 by Dionisio Torres de Bricenio, this was the first convent of nuns in Buenos Aires.

It's centrally located, being managed by the archbishop of Buenos Aires. It was in use as a convent (Order of Second Dominical) until 1974.

Nowadays it's half open to the public. It's easily accessible from the street, almost like a small public park. There is a cafe, several cultural areas and guided visits to the Convent.
