At 33 rue Chanzy, the Saint Jean Catholic school was a haven of peace for around 20 children who were welcomed, hidden, protected in 1941 by the sea, where they were mixed with the other students on their noses and with the beards of fellow militiamen. by the director Alexandre Berbonde and his wife Marcelle who were elevated to the dignity of Just among the nations and Father Marcel Sabouret Aumonier.

Au 33 rue Chanzy, l'école Catholique Saint Jean fut un havre de paix pour une vingtaine d'enfants acceuillis, cachés, protégés dès 1941 au seain de l'établissementou ils sont melés aux autres élèves au nez et à la barbe des collegues miliciens par le directeur Alexandre Berbonde et son épouse Marcelle qui furent élevés à la dignité de Juste parmi les nations et l'abbé Marcel Sabouret Aumonier.
