Grenspaal 9/10, gaf de grens van de bezittingen van koning Willem II aan. Later diende de paal als scheiding tussen Katwijk aan den Rijn en Katwijk aan Zee. De paal is waarschijnlijk geplaatst in 1842 De grenspalen lopen van Scheveningen tot Katwijk. Paal 1, 2 en 3 bestaan niet meer, paal 4/5 t/m 9/10 nog wel. De paal staat aan de rand van het park bij de burgemeesterswoning en het gemeentehuis. De overige dubbele genummerde palen staan nog langs Meijendel en verder richting Scheveningen.

Boundary marker 9/10, indicated the limit of the assets of King Willem II. Later the pile served as a separation between Katwijk aan den Rijn and Katwijk aan Zee. The pile was probably placed in 1842.The border posts run from Scheveningen to Katwijk. Posts 1, 2 and 3 no longer exist, posts 4/5 to 9/10 still exist. The pole is on the edge of the park near the mayor's house and the town hall. The other double numbered poles are still along Meijendel and further towards Scheveningen.
