" De la période médiévale subsistent essentiellement les fenêtres cintrées éclairant le chœur. La statue de la Vierge de bois, de forme mal ébauchée et vermoulue, a été remplacée en 1919. Quant à la source qui jouxte la chapelle, elle était jadis, dit-on, miraculeuse.
Cette chapelle exigeait déjà des réparations en 1597. Elle fût restaurée en 1686 par Claire Barbarat. La chapelle n’est pas voûtée. Une poutre de sa charpente apparente porte la date d’une probable réfection en 1732. Couvertes de tuiles plates, la chapelle mesure 13 m de long, 5 m de large et 3,30 m de hauteur. On y accède par un escalier de treize marches dont la première est aujourd’hui enterrée.
A l’intérieur, on y voit une copie du tableau de la sainte famille par Raphaël, « très gâtée par un habitant du lieu qui avait quitté la navette de tisserand pour la palette de peintre-barbouilleur ». Ce tableau fut donné en 1651 par Claude Bourgoin, curé de Dienville.
A droite de l’entrée, on peut encore observer une petite dalle contemporaine du ministère de ce prêtre. Elle date de 1661. Le bénitier semble lui aussi très ancien. Dédiée à Marie, la chapelle portait à l’origine le nom de Notre-Dame de l’Annonciation.
La chapelle fut rénovée par des jeunes chrétiens, sous la responsabilité de l’abbé Xavier de Zutter, et aidés par des adultes, lors de camps de chantiers qui ont eu lieu en 2009, 2010 et 2011. En partenariat avec la commune de Dienville, les Amis des clochers, la DDCSPP et le Conseil régional. "

Covered with flat tiles, the chapel is 13 m long, 5 m wide and 3.30 m high. It is reached by a staircase of thirteen steps, the first of which is now buried.
Inside, we see a copy of the picture of the holy family by Raphael, "very spoiled by a local resident who had left the weaver's shuttle for the palette of painter-dauber". This table was given in 1651 by Claude Bourgoin, parish priest of Dienville.
To the right of the entrance, one can still observe a small contemporary slab of the ministry of this priest. It dates from 1661. The font also seems very old. Dedicated to Mary, the chapel originally bore the name of Our Lady of the Annunciation.
The chapel was renovated by young Christians, under the responsibility of Father Xavier de Zutter, and helped by adults, during construction camps that took place in 2009, 2010 and 2011. In partnership with the town of Dienville, the Friends of the bell towers, the DDCSPP and the Regional Council. "
