Este poço está localizado no pátio interior do Castelo de Torres Novas.
"O castelo de Torres Novas guarda no interior das imponentes muralhas, com onze torres, um aprazível e bem cuidado jardim do qual pode desfrutar. Após a implementação de um projeto de recuperação física e paisagística, o monumento e a área envolvente tornaram-se ainda mais agradáveis com a construção de circuitos pedonais e uma área de lazer.
Esta fortaleza árabe do século XII foi definitivamente conquistada, em 1190, por D. Sancho I. Sofreu várias reconstruções, das quais sobressaem as de D. Sancho I, a de D. Fernando e a que foi feita por ocasião das comemorações dos centenários da Independência e da Restauração (1940). Foi classificado como Monumento Nacional a 16 de junho de 1910."

This draw well is located in the inner courtyard of the Castle of Torres Novas.
"The Torres Novas Castle keeps inside the imposing walls with eleven towers a pleasant and well-kept garden which you can enjoy. After the implementation of a project of physical and environmental rehabilitation, the monument and surrounding area have become even more pleasant with the setting of footpaths and a leisure area.
This Arab fortress from the 12th century was definitely conquered in 1190 by King Sancho I. It was subject to various reconstructions, standing out the ones made during the reigns of the kings D. Sancho I and D. Fernando, and the one done in celebration of the centenary of the Independence and the Restoration (1940). It was classified as National Monument on 16 June 1910. "
