This sculpture dates back to the 1950s. It depicts two former OCU students holding up a lamp that represents knowledge. It sits in an area that formerly was a fountain but is now a planted bed of small bushes. The statue was donated by Erick and Florence Lippert.

The statue is listed on the Smithsonian Art Inventory and is wamarked as such by Max and 99 on Waymark: WMAAGB
