It's on the CPR overpass over Highway 12 that one will find Bechmark 89C123. It was monumented in 1989, on the north face of the south concrete pier which supports the overpass. It's near the western edge, about a foot or so above ground level. NRCAN believes the benchmark to be near the east edge. It's not.
The safest place to park nearby is on the north shoulder just east of the overpass.
