The "Sokolovna" foundation stone was ceremoniously laid with the participation of all local organizations, surrounding Sokol units, city council and representatives of surrounding municipalities on April 21, 1907 and "Sokolovna" was constructed in an incredible 125 days. "Sokolovna" after many minor repairs and modernizations still serves to local TJ Sokol Benátky nad Jizerou.
