One of Denmarks oldest and most beautiful lighthouses. The first lighthouse here was built in 1561 - nearly 500 years ago. The new lighthouse was built in 1785 and expanded in 1881. 42 meters hight.

Dansk: Anholt fyr et af de ældste fyr i Danmark og fredet, og kan dateres helt tilbage til 1561 hvor det første fyr, som var en pandefyr blev taget i brug på ordre fra Kong Frederik den 2. Siden dengang er fyret blev ændret flere gang og flere typer af fyr har været brugt. Fyret som ses i dag blev bygget i 1785-88 hvor det afløste et vippefyr. Det nye fyr er blevet ombygget af flere omgang i 1881 blev blandt andet forhøjet og i 1996 blev de sidste gas og acetylen brændere udskiftet med glødelamper og solceller. Fyret har også lige været gennem en større opfriskning hvor vinduer og døre er skiftet og hele tårnet er pudset op og malet.
Engelsk: Anholt light is one of the oldest in the country. On demand from king Frederik the 2nd a lighthouse was built here in 1561. The new and very tall lighthouse was built in 1785 and expanded in 1881. The lighthouse is 42 meters high.
