66C153 was monumented in 1966 in the rear, east side, of St. Bartholemew's hospital. St. Bartholemew's stands at the intersection of Highway 12 and Main Street, where Highway 12 turns abruptly west off Main Street. Accompanying photos will guide Benchmark hunters directly to 66C153.
While the building still stands, it has been empty and unused for several years now. No trespassing signs are posted at the building, which Benchmarkers tend to ignore on rare occasions. Though BC Interior Health lists it as
St. Bartholomew's Health Centre and remaining in this building, I can assure you that the building is unused. The actual, as in new, St. Bartholomew's Health Center is on Main Street, 2½ blocks south.
