Located in the Bayshore Live Oak Park in Port Charlotte, Florida is a playground with a pirate theme. Besides the play pirate ship there is a climbing structure with a slide that resembles a hollowed out tree. It also has a cave with a treasure chest. Inside the cave are petrosomatoglyphs of a human boot prints and dog prints. It’s interesting to note the boot prints are only of the right foot and there are round depressions between the boot prints. Could these be the “peg leg” of a pirate hiding his treasure?
