Depicted burgher house N° 166 in Šultysova Street (dum c.p. 166 v Šultysove ulici) with partially preserved Gothic-Renaissance architectural elements on facade is one of many valuable historic houses in medieval centre of Kutná Hora (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
House N° 166, a two-storey building with saddle roof located in the street line, is a part of the development of an important urban space - current Šultysova treet (...which is, however, thanks to its character rather square). Building on a deep plot, originally a house with an arcade. The main façade has an architectural structure consisting of analytically applied parts of the stone lining of the original Gothic-Renaissance windows (16th century). The house has been preserved from the time of the Classicist reconstruction (19th century), while the Gothic cellars (15th century) have been preserved. Medieval masonry is still on the ground floor and is not excluded even in the higher parts of the house.
