Siljub Butterfly Garden - Kanata, ON - Butterfly Gardens on Waymarking.com

Originally known as the Walter Baker Butterfly Garden, the garden is near the eastern edge of Walter Baker Park, between the toboggan hill and the large duck pond. That hill and mature conifers to the west should protect the garden from prevailing winds. Sun will warm the garden from early dawn. Many large stones in the garden will retain heat.

There is no path directly to the garden but there is a bench facing the butterflies. The park-bench pad includes space for a stroller or wheelchair.

This is the second butterfly garden in Kanata South. There is no interpretive sign on site. There is a plaque thanking the sponsors. See below.
