This red brick, two-story, Romanesque Revival building is located at 514 East 4th Avenue. The Romanesque Revival is noted by the corner towers, the emphasis on arches, especially over windows and doors, and the square tower entry. The main eastern facade has a double wooden doors with an arched stained glass transom with smaller single wood entry doors flanking the main doors, again with smaller arched stained glass transom. Above the flanking entry doors are an arched single stained glass window with stone sill and an arched brick lintel. Above the main entry is a large round stained glass window. The central square tower continues with three slatted windows; then, a larger slatted window; then finally finishing with a white painted steeple topped with a cross. The corner towers are small and topped with the basic design as the steeple. The date stone on the building reads:

The eastern facade has seven small windows at ground level. Towards the entry at the north side, there is a larger arched window with a smaller arched window above. Then there are five stained glass windows that reach the same height as the two smaller windows in the first position. All of these windows have stone sills and arched brick lintels. The last window on this eastern facade is a square double hung window in a support portion of the building.

Holy Angels Catholic Church, one of the most beautiful structures in Anderson County, opened in 1916 and cost $15,000 to construct.
