On April 6, 2020, at our Site 1 in Edmond,OK the ISS reached an altitude of 55° at 21:08:43 with magnitude -3.3. Our viewing location was near the intersection of Bryant and 33rd St. Because of hazy clouds we were able to view the ISS for only about 30 seconds near its high point, but the map shows that it made a close pass with Venus just before we saw it. We found its location on the Skyview phone app and were able to glimpse it streaking behind the clouds near the predicted position at the feet of Gemini. Simultaneously, the moon was glowing behind the clouds as it rose in the southeast.

In Bellevue, LA TitusLlewelyn was unfortunately unable to view the ISS as it passed - due to poor weather. At 21:09:54 the ISS reached its peak altitude of 51° over Bellevue but wasn't visible.

The flight distance from Edmond to Bellevue is 346 miles (1.18 min. x 293 mi./min.).
