Argentinian steaks are probably the best in the world and it's only natural that steak culture is taken seriously in the country. There are plenty of steak houses. Hundreds, in Buenos Aires only. But just a few are considered a must for the connoisseur. Desnivel is one of them.
However, it's true that its success impacted in the quality. The prices raised. It's just not as good as it used to be and became pretty much focused in the market for tourists. But still it should be visited at least once.
