Escuela Superior de Mecánica de la Armada was a mechanical school for the Argentinian Navy and also the location of an illegal center of torture and detention during the so called Dirty War (1976-1983).
After the fall of the Military Dictatorship the complex was converted into a cultural space and includes a museum. It's open to the public and the entrance is free.
