Long Description:
Question of Balance is a light object by Toni Burgering and consists of neon light elements with different lengths and colors. The colors blue and red on both sides represent contradictions such as between man and woman, society and individual, young and old. The highest column in the middle, with the color green, represents hope and future and the elements pink, light blue and yellow in the middle represent a nuance of the hard contrasts. With these luminescent elements, Toni Burgering wants to make the Evenaarplein more special. Question of Balance is an initiative of the Foundation Residents Organization Oosterflank (SBO) and was established through close cooperation of this residents' organization, the sub-municipality of Prince Alexander and the CBK Rotterdam, with contributions from Coca-Cola Enterprises Nederland BV, De Nieuwe Unie, Woningstichting PWS and the Foundation for Promotion of People's Power.
