This is a small family cemetery, long inactive and sometimes neglected. If it wasn't for Findagrave listing at least two other adult burials (unmarked), it would appear that Mr. Pierce is surrounded by only children. His final resting place is at the back of the cemetery, marked by a marble headstone. The family name, "Pierce", is on the plinth, and the dove of peace is at the top, with small flowers, a ribbon, and "Hope" underneath. The inscription reads:
