St Hilary's church is a heavily restored church of medieval origin, which was originally dedicated to St Mary.

It is cruciform in plan and consisting of nave, chancel, north and south chapels and a south porch.

The church was heavily restored in 1820 with further repairs taking place in 1865.

The mounting block is located next to the lych gate. It is in very good condition with each step topped with a slate block.
