"This church, built in the 1880's, originally housed St. Paul's Friedens Church, a German Evangelical congregation. St. Slovak Evangelical Lutheran Church bought the building in 1914 and held serviced there until 1958, when the Pentecostal Church of God purchased the site. Today, the Church of God, through its Love in Action Program, aids neighborhood residents in need of food and clothing, offers literacy programs for adults, and educates over 500 children a year in Drugbusters, and anti-drug and alcohol program." ~ Where We Live a Guide to St. Louis Communities on Google books
And later was Bethlehem Mission Church.
As late as 2011 it was listed in the Church of God listing as "Harvest Church of God"....but was boarded up in 2014.
