An unusual Boer War memorial

The memorial was erected in 1902 to commemorate the coronation of King Edward V11, the lamp also bears a memorial to the Mount Morgan Troopers who fell in the Boer War. The lamp originally stood at the intersection of Morgan and East Streets and was moved in 1947 to it's present location in ANZAC Park
