Along the stretch of highway between Boston Bar and Yale are
7 tunnels, built between 1957 and 1964, as part of the Trans-Canada Highway. From South to North the tunnels are: Yale (1963), Saddle Rock (1958), Sailor Bar (1959), Alexandra (1964), Hell's Gate(1960), Ferrabee (1964) and China Bar (1961).
Following that order, driving from south to north and skipping over Saddle Rock and Sailor Bar tunnels, our third Benchmark is 66C124, monumented in 1966 in the east face of the south end of Alexandra Tunnel. It's well below the words "Alexandra Tunnel" and about 6 inches above ground level.
The road is wide enough to allow parking on the west side of the highway, but not on the east side.
