FR A Villeneuve, sur le sentier qui mène à la chapelle puis au sommet de la Roche Amère, on peut apprendre à reconnaître les plantes le long de l'itinéraire.
La colline de la Roche Amère (sommet 584 m) constituée de calcaires marins du cétacé possède une végétation caractéristique avec chêne vert, cade, pistachier térébinthe et génévrier de Phénicie.
Au f?il des saisons, le chemin menant au sommet de la Roche Amère où se trouvent les ruines d’un petit château fort du XI è siècle (détruit vers 1145) permet d’observer plus d‘une centaine d'espèces végétales et de nombreux insectes. Des étiquettes permettent aux promeneurs intéressés de connaître le nom des principales espèces présentes.
Ce sentier botanique est ouvert toute l'année sans restriction.
EN In Villeneuve, on the path which leads to the chapel and then to the top of the Bitter Rock, you can learn to recognize the plants along the route.
The hill of the Bitter Rock (summit 584 m) made up of cetacean marine limestones has a characteristic vegetation with holm oak, cade, pistachio terebinth and juniper from Phenicia.
As the seasons go by, the path leading to the top of the Bitter Rock where the ruins of a small 11th century fortified castle are located (destroyed around 1145) allows you to observe over a hundred plant species and many insects. Labels allow interested walkers to know the names of the main species present.
This botanical trail is open all year round without restriction.
