For decades, this natural area has been known as the Trillium Woods, to nordic skiers and other trail users. To the city of Ottawa, this park is the passive recreation type of park. That description is accurate. There are no recreation facilities in the park. It is wilderness with a trail system. There are no signs for this park.
Trails are maintained by the Ottawa Mountain Bike Association (OMBA). OMBA intersection markers 80, 81 and 82 are within the Trillium Woods but I suspect that they are all south of the official park boundary. Hopefully the trails will survive the coming urban sprawl. Park users may also notice markers for a permanent orienteering course.
Trillium Woods Park is bordered on the north by Terry Fox Drive and on the west by the road allowance once known as March township, Second Line. The OMBA has named the Second Line trail as Dualine. At present, the green space seems to extend south all the way to the railroad. However, most of that green space is actually private land. Urban sprawl will be approaching Trillium Woods Park from the south.
The official park area is only 7.5 hectares or 18.6 acres. If you want to make your visit very official, here are the co-ordinates for the four corners of the rectangular shaped park.

Decades ago, there were parking spaces at the two trail crossings of the Goulbourn Forced Road. There is no longer any room to pull off on the Goulbourn Forced Road. Today, trail users must park at the Richcraft Recreation Complex and make their way to the trail crossing of the Goulbourn Forced Road, behind the rec centre. The posted co-ordinates refer to that trail crossing.
In off-school hours, some park users leave their vehicles in the lot at the Kanata Highlands Public School.
