The mill was built in 1722 for the drainage of the Katsspolder and the Swanlasche polder, both of which had been turned into puddles. Since the reclamation of the Katsspolder, the mill has been part of the Tweemanspolder windmill as an upper mill. The mill is equipped with a paddlewheel with a diameter of 5.95 m. In 1953 the four-aisle was taken out of operation and the mills were acquired by the Molenviergang Tweemanspolder Foundation. The mill is inhabited and cannot be visited.
