"It is not always easy to blend functionality with form." This sculpture will easily catch your eye! Are the horse shoe shapes moving it? Is it merely the wind? Are the colors significant? Is it how life is supposed to be? Pay close attention to each of the moving parts . . .
This sculpture is on the south side of the Avenue of the Fountains and east of Verde River Dr. in Fountain Hills, Arizona. It is tucked away, close to the buildings. Its base is bolted into concrete and bears a metal identification tag. The sculpture sits atop a metal arm and only the top turns. It is amazing how little wind it takes to turn the metal and glass pieced top.
