The Supreme Court building constructed in 1886 - 87 is a two-storey rendered masonry structure with a sandstone entrance facade. The ground floor which forms the base to the portico has a central doorway flanked by paired sash windows. The portico has four Ionic columns, which are flanked by square columns at either side, supporting an entablature and pediment. Three tall sash windows, centred between the columns, are surmounted by a circular window framed with relief carving.
The building is approached from the East St via a wide pathway through an avenue of Royal Palms (Roystonea regia) between the Magistrate's Court and District Court buildings.
