The clock is located at the entrance to the downtown core of Windsor at the intersection of Ouellette Avenue and Wyandotte Street West.

It was donated to the city by resident Aziz Chowdhury as a symbol of peace, and in recognition of the welcome he received from local residents when he arrived in Windsor from Bangladesh in 1979.

The clock was donated and dedicated in 2010.

Mr. Chowdoury passed away in 2017.

A great article about the clock and the man may be found here: (visit link)
