The Comanche museum is located in Elmer Thomas Park. In front of the museum in the parking lot is a circular garden which displays this sculpture.

Medicine Dream was created by well-known Kiowa-Comanche artist Barthell Little Chief. The bronze piece weighs 3500 lbs. and was placed in the summer of 2018. It is a stylized portrait of a horse and Native American. They appear to be covered with a robe and angel wings, and their heads, together, are stretched to the sky. We are sure there is a strong spiritual meaning to this piece, but we cannot attempt to try to describe its meaning. It certainly catches the eye and would have deep significance to tribal members.
