Elmer Thomas Park is a very large park on the northeast side of Lawton. Among the other items here, it is the location of the Comanche National Museum & Cultural Center. In a garden area next to the parking lot, this slightly less than life-sized fiberglass bison sculpture stands near that of a horse, and a memorial to a famous Comanche Chief.
