Coyle Schools has a Little Free Pantry to assist those in need. It is painted blue and white, the school colors. The pantry is clearly marked as a "Blessing Box", and a sign hanging below the front window says: "Take what you need/Bring what you can/Above all be blessed."
On the day of our visit, the pantry was stocked with ramen noodles, rice/pasta, jello mix, and cans of soup and vegetables.
According to publicschoolsreview, 66% of students at Coyle Schools qualify for free lunches, so this free pantry is a welcome addition to the community! In addition to the pantry offering food to those in need, during the Coronavirus pandemic when school is closed, the school is partnering with Keystone to provide free meals to the students.
