This transit center occupies the site of the former Ronstadt Hardware company at the corner of 6th Ave. and Congress St. It is close to the Amtrack station and the old pueblo area. To maintain a sense of cityscape the transit area is enclosed within brick walls with arched openings. Shade structures are provided inside for those waiting to transfer between buses. The center opened in 1991 and is scheduled for renovation as part of the redevelopment of the downtown area.
