The accident tore off part of the roof of the vehicle.
Police closed a major road in Stoke-on-Trent earlier today after a coach became stuck under a well-known railway bridge.
At 10.15am today the vehicle, which was heading from Stoke in the direction of Leek Road, became wedged under the railway bridge in Glebe Street, Stoke.
The accident tore off part of the roof of the coach and left it stuck with its cab compartment poking out towards Leek Road.
