You can always tell the cemetery if Roman Catholic, because it has a full crucifix in the grave yard, not just the cross.
But this one is unique to me, for it is in full living color. I have never seed one so realistic, and painted with such skill.
I have seen a couple colored crucifixes, but they are usually assembly line made ones. You know, with the small flaws at the change of color lines, where a gap appears, or overlaps the other color.
This one is superb, and as if hand done by a master.. very sharp and impressive.
The cross itself, is real wood. Treated hardwood, made to look like mahogany, but is not...I suspect maple, hard maple.
