About a mile west of town on N.W. Cache Road, you'll find this brightly painted water tank, across the road from the Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery. The tank is almost enough to "wake the dead."
The tank is painted in a red and white checkerboard pattern. The bottom of the tank is painted red, and the eight supporting steel pipes are alternated in red and white paint. Quite startling as you drive by.
