The tennis courts are located in Moran Park in Holland, Michigan. They have been resurfaced in the last three years, plus new nets, all courts are lighted, and are in very good condition.
History
This facility was originally known as the 22nd Street Field. This facility included a baseball field and football field. Joe Moran, who was Holland High School’s Boys Tennis Coach for over 25 years, established the lighted tennis courts at this facility, which was unprecedented at that time. This was done during Joe Moran’s employment as the City of Holland Recreation Director. Originally, tennis was not allowed to be played at this facility on Sundays.
