On the south corner of the Veterans Memorial Park is a dedicated memorial in remembrance of the American Veterans who served in the United States armed forces. The monument is a large rectangular polished stone block which reads: "Dedicated to those who served in the armed forces of the United States of America - may they not have served in vain".
The Veterans Memorial Park and on-street parking is located at 12565 SW 7th Street, Beaverton, Oregon 97005. This park has an open lawn area, picnic area, walking path and many military displays and memorials. There are no restroom facilities, no playground for the kids and no art sculpture. The park is triangular in shape and can be accessed from all three sides. The Coordinates are set at the veterans memorial. This park is open dawn to dusk.

From the park website: "Veterans Memorial Park is a one-acre park in Central Beaverton that is dedicated to veterans from all branches of the U.S. military. Annually, the park hosts Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day ceremonies conducted by Beaverton American Legion Post #124. A Blue Star Memorial and several monuments are displayed at the site; many are constructed using military artifacts, such as a plane propeller and torpedo. The park -- which also features grassy lawns, picnic benches, and a walking path -- is located at the intersection of SW Washington Ave., SW Watson Ave., and SW 7th St."
