God Grant Me The Serenity
To accept the things I cannot change
Courage to change the things I can
And the wisdom to know the difference.

The parish started in 1860, but moved to Russellville site when land was donated in 1887. Dedicated in 1890, and 1891 a new parcel of land acquired when a school was built. I assume the cemetery followed close behind this event.
