In Nisyros many mosaics are made with black and white lava stones. The stones are found within at the beaches and have a volcanic origin. In Nisyros there is one more or less active volcano with the Stephanos caldera. Throughout Mandraki, many mosaics are made but we thought this one, in front of a house on the central square was the most beautiful of the mosaics.
